Stilton Stuffed Dates Wrapped in Prosciutto

Sweet, creamy, tangy goodness. The quickest bite-size appetizer, sure to impress your guests.

INGREDIENTS: 


DATES

  • About 9oz Medjool Dates; pitted

  • Stilton or blue cheese; about 1/3 cup

  • Prosciutto; about 6 pieces


MAPLE MUSTARD SAUCE

  • 2 tbs grainy mustard

  • 1 tsp maple syrup


INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Open dates in half and stuff with stilton or blue cheese crumbles. It's okay if they're falling apart and look messy.

  • Next, cut the prosciutto pieces in half lengthwise and wrap a piece around each date to hold everything together.

  • Organize neatly on a sheet tray and place into the oven for about 10-12 minutes.

  • While the dates are baking, prepare the mustard sauce by combining grainy mustard and maple syrup in a small bowl.

  • Once dates are crispy, remove from the oven and enjoy with the mustard sauce.
